Shutters

A box with doors and louvers covering doors and windows. Come in painted, stained or vinyl finishes.

MOST COMMON USES

On windows where the view is not essential, and draperies are not desired. Most popular in very hot areas, like the desert or where that particular look is desired.

ADVANTAGES

In most cases, shutters have a very long life. In good vinyl, they are warranted against chipping, flaking, cracking, fading, warping and most everything else for as long as you own them.

Some environments or decor are not appropriate for shutters. But then again, this can be said for most other window coverings as well.
